US equities rebounded this week, ending two weeks of consecutive losses, with the S&P 500 up .74% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average up .69%. Economists continue to speculate the timeline effect tax reform would have on the US economy.

WTI crude oil prices saw a boost from hurricane Harvey, which has disrupted imports into the Texas Gulf Coast. US crude oil inventories have fallen for eight consecutive weeks even though shale companies show no signs of slowing production and demand has remained robust through the summer months.
